TSANET (“TSANet”) respects the privacy of your personal information. This Data Protection and Privacy Statement defines TSANet’s policy on how it aims to treat personal information supplied by you on the Website. In doing so, TSANet will have measures in place to ensure compliance by its staff and third parties with high standards of security and confidentiality in order to protect your information. 

Any personal information that you provide to TSANet will be used solely for the purpose of providing you with the services you have requested at the Website, to update and enhance TSANet’s records, to advise you from time to time of other products and services from TSANet and other companies (which includes businesses and services within the TSANet Group as defined below) that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of any communications outside of required information you provide to remain in compliance with the TSANet Code of Conduct and associated TSANet relationships. We will also log various usage and statistical information about your use of the services on the Website (See ‘Cookies’ below) to improve our services and to assist TSANet to promote appropriate advertising space on the Website. 

Other than to those individuals and entities (or categories thereof) listed below, your details will not be disclosed by TSANet to any external body, unless we have your permission to do so, or we are under either a legal obligation or any other duty to do so. The information provided by you at the Website may be disclosed by TSANet to: 

  • TSANet, Inc. and any subsequent group member from time to time 
  • External advisors, and 
  • Any third party service providers or agent acting on behalf of TSANet. 

You may be requested to provide personal information when using the services on the Website and this personal data may then be transferred to other company’s within the TSANet membership. This transfer of your personal information may be to different countries (either inside or outside your Country) depending on which services you have requested and which company within TSANet you may be involved with providing you with such requested services and any other information as set out in this TSANet Privacy Statement. By using the services on the Website you consent to such transfers within TSANet including transfers outside your country. 

Hyperlinks to other websites: TSANet provides, from time to time, hyperlinks to other websites outside of TSANet. If you use these hyperlinks then you will be leaving the Website and your access and use of those websites will not be governed by this TSANet Privacy Statement. It is your responsibility to check the other websites and any privacy policies that may govern those websites to find out how your data will be treated by the operators of those websites. 

How long do we keep your information? Personal information provided by you is retained as long the purpose for which the data was collected continues. It will then be destroyed unless its retention is required to satisfy legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect our interests. 

Cookies: TSANet may place certain information automatically onto your computer’s hard drive when you view the Website. This may result in TSANet storing some information on your computer, which will be in the form of a “Cookie” or similar file. This is in order to help TSANet provide and improve its services to you. This Data Protection and Privacy Statement is not intended to, nor does it, create any contractual rights whatsoever or any other legal rights, nor does it create any obligations on TSANet in respect of any other party or on behalf of any party. This Privacy Statement is subject to TSANet’s terms of use for the Website from time to time. 

Keeping you informed of TSANet services: The information collected from you will be important and useful in keeping you informed of products and services from TSANet that we believe would be of interest you. We will ensure that our use of your information will be kept to the minimum required in order to provide the services that you have requested and to continually monitor and improve our services and keeping you informed about our services. 

Other TSANet services: Your information may also be used by TSANet or other members of TSANet to keep you informed of other products and services. If you do not wish to receive such information please contact TSANet by email. 

Your rights: In order to maintain the accuracy of your personal information it is requested that you keep your information up-to-date. Individual and Administrative accounts allow edit and delete options. You can also keep TSANet informed of any changes viaemail. You have the right to request access to or delete personal information held about you by TSANet. However, this could result in a violation of the Code of Conduct. TSANet collects and retains only name, business email, business phone and location information of those entered by members into the database. You have that right and/or if you have any questions concerning your consent for TSANet to process your personal information as set out in this Data Protection and Privacy Statement please contact TSANet by email 

In the case of a Data Breech, TSANet will inform those affected the extent of the breech and action taken to resolve any issues. The TSANet Security and Executive Committee are all informed should there be a data breech.  

In providing your telephone, facsimile number, email address or other contact details you agree that TSANet or those companies that we share your information with may contact you by using any of those contact details for any of the purposes set out in this TSANet Privacy Statement to keep you updated with information about services that may or will be of interest to you. 

You agree that you do not and will not consider that being contacted in this way will breach any of your rights under existing Data Protection & Privacy) Regulations and if you do not want to be contacted by these methods (telephone, facsimile number, email address or other contact details) please let us know now or at a later date by email to membership@tsanet.org 

By accessing the Website and using any services you accept this Data Protection and Privacy Statement and you consent to the use (including processing and storage), transfer, and disclosure of your personal information referred to in this Data Protection and Privacy Statement for the purposes set out in this Data Protection and Privacy Policy Statement.
